Triton ULTRA integrates with Turing Vision through Triton Cloud, sending sensor alerts such as Vape, THC, and Aggression to Turing Vision with an associated camera. Staff can open a registered sensor’s event list and review alerts within the platform they already use for video.
The integration connects detection inside a restroom or locker room with the nearby camera chosen by your team. Staff gain context from the entrance or hallway while keeping cameras outside the private space.
Triton Cloud + Turing Vision
How it works: In Turing Vision, go to Devices > Sensor, add a Triton sensor, and generate an API key. Enter that key on the Turing Vision integration page in Triton Cloud.
Camera association: Each Triton sensor links to one Turing camera. Copy the camera’s serial number from Settings > Camera Settings and enter it in the sensor’s Camera ID field in Triton Cloud.
Register your sensors: Save the camera mappings, then click Register Sensors. This sends the mapped sensors to Turing Vision. Re-register after adding a sensor, changing a camera mapping, or replacing the API key.
Bring sensor alerts into your camera workflow
Registered sensors appear under Triton sensors in Turing Vision’s Devices > Sensor view, with their connection status and linked camera. Opening a sensor shows its timestamped event list, giving operators a straightforward place to review activity.
Before you start: Have access to the sensor and camera settings in Turing Vision, a Triton Cloud account with online sensors, and the serial number of the camera covering each sensor’s area. Run a test and verify that the event appears in Turing Vision before relying on the connection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which vape detector integrates with Turing Vision?
Triton ULTRA connects to Turing Vision through Triton Cloud, sending sensor alerts with a nearby camera associated with each sensor.
How many Turing cameras can I link to one Triton sensor?
The documented integration links each sensor to one Turing camera using that camera’s serial number.
Is the Camera ID the same as the Turing camera serial number?
For this integration, yes. Copy the Serial field from the camera’s Info tab into the Camera ID field in Triton Cloud.
Why is a sensor missing in Turing Vision?
Check that the sensor has a Camera ID saved in Triton Cloud, then use Register Sensors or Re-register Sensors. Sensors with a blank Camera ID are not linked.
When should I re-register sensors?
After adding sensors, changing Camera IDs, or replacing the API key. Save the changes before re-registering.
