Triton ULTRA integrates with Network Optix Nx Witness through Triton Cloud and Nx Cloud, delivering sensor alerts as events and pop-up notifications associated with mapped cameras. Your security team can receive vape alerts in the Nx Witness client it already uses to monitor video.

Linking a restroom sensor to the camera outside its entrance gives staff camera context for an alert without placing a camera in the private space. The event and camera association help operators identify the location that needs attention.

Triton Cloud + Nx Witness

How it works: Connect your Nx server to Nx Cloud. In Triton Cloud, open Integrations > Nx Optix, enter the Cloud System ID and your Nx Cloud credentials, then authenticate. The integration guide recommends a dedicated Nx Cloud user.

Camera association: Copy Camera IDs from Nx Cloud and enter them beside the corresponding Triton sensors in Triton Cloud. Save the mapping so alerts are associated with the intended cameras.

Alert workflow: Triton Cloud sends ULTRA alerts to the Nx system. Operators receive events and pop-up notifications in Nx Witness, with the sensor-to-camera associations configured during setup.

Verify alerts in the Nx client

Before you start: Have an Nx server connected to Nx Cloud, the Cloud System ID, Nx Cloud credentials, Camera IDs, and access to the Triton Cloud account containing your sensors.

Run a test for a sensor with a Camera ID assigned, select Vape as the trigger, and confirm that a Triton pop-up notification appears in the Nx client. Repeat camera mapping for the additional locations your team needs to monitor.
