Triton ULTRA brings sensor detections and live occupancy views into March Networks, helping staff assess room activity and review events with nearby camera footage. A restroom sensor can provide context inside the room while a hallway camera shows activity around the entrance.
This gives operators a clearer picture of a location both during an alert and between events. Staff can check occupancy before entering, prioritize which rooms need attention, and use synchronized detection data and video when investigating an incident.

Direct connection to March Networks
How it works: Triton ULTRA sends detection data over TCP to a March Networks recorder. The Custom Hub and Triton Sensor translators process that data for Searchlight, where it is synchronized with the associated camera’s video.
Sensor and camera association: Each sensor’s MAC address must match its Terminal ID so the metadata is identified correctly. The recorder’s metadata channel and camera association connect the detection with the relevant video.
Detection data: The translator guide describes detections and readings including vaping, gunshots, loitering, air quality, temperature, and humidity. This direct sensor-to-recorder connection does not require Triton Cloud.
Live occupancy alongside your cameras
ULTRA’s live occupancy view can also be displayed inside March Networks. Operators can monitor room activity alongside an exterior camera view, adding context before a responder enters a restroom or locker room.
Before you start: The translator guide lists X-Series and R5 NVRs for this integration. Setup requires compatible recorder and server software, both translators, and camera associations.
