Direct connection from Triton ULTRA
How it works: ULTRA sends HTTP messages to WAVE. Generic Event rules match the messages and run configured actions such as notifications, recording, or camera bookmarks.
Version-specific setup: The direct guide includes settings for WAVE 6.1.x. Follow the instructions appropriate for the installed version when configuring the event connection.
Triton Cloud + WAVE Sync
Connect the systems: Enable WAVE Sync for your WAVE system and configure the connection in Triton Cloud. WAVE Sync is required for this Cloud option.
Camera association: Map camera IDs to the corresponding sensors in Triton Cloud. Sensor events are delivered through WAVE Sync as bookmarks tied to the mapped cameras.
Review detections and monitor occupancy
Bookmarks give staff a starting point on the relevant camera timeline when investigating an event. ULTRA’s RTSP occupancy stream can also be added to WAVE for live viewing alongside camera feeds, supporting room checks between alerts.
Before you start: Select the direct or Cloud guide, configure the event types and camera associations, and test the response in WAVE. Confirm that the expected notification or bookmark appears for the intended sensor and camera.
