Triton ULTRA connects to DW Spectrum through direct HTTP events or through Triton Cloud and DW Cloud Sync. The integration brings sensor detections into the video workflow, with configured camera actions or bookmarks that help staff respond and review incidents.
Linking a sensor to the camera near its location helps staff connect a detection inside a room with activity around the entrance. ULTRA’s live occupancy view can also be displayed alongside cameras, providing context before a responder enters.

Direct connection from Triton ULTRA
How it works: ULTRA sends HTTP messages to DW Spectrum. Generic Event rules match the sensor messages and run the actions you configure.
Alert workflow: Rules can display notifications, start recording, or open a camera layout. Select the actions and camera views that staff need for each sensor location.
Triton Cloud + DW Cloud Sync
Connect the systems: Enable DW Cloud Sync for the DW Spectrum system. In Triton Cloud, enter the Cloud System ID and DW Cloud credentials, then authenticate. The guide recommends a dedicated integration account.
Camera association: Copy Camera IDs from DW Cloud and map them to the corresponding sensors in Triton Cloud. The Cloud connection sends bookmarked events tied to those mapped cameras.
Monitor room activity and review events
ULTRA’s RTSP occupancy stream is configured separately in DW Spectrum for live viewing alongside camera feeds. Staff can use it to assess room activity, then use the associated recordings or Cloud bookmarks to investigate detections.
Before you start: Choose the direct or Cloud guide for your deployment, configure the camera associations, and test an event. For the Cloud option, confirm that the bookmark is associated with the intended camera after saving the mappings.
