For a restroom or locker room, the sensor provides information from inside while the associated camera covers the entrance. ULTRA’s live occupancy view can also be displayed alongside cameras, helping responders assess conditions before entering.

Direct connection from Triton ULTRA
How it works: ULTRA sends TCP event messages to Avigilon’s POS Transaction engine. Configured rules can start recording or display an on-screen alert for the associated cameras.
License requirement: This direct connection requires an Avigilon POS Transaction License. Follow the direct guide to configure the sensor messages and POS event rules.
Triton Cloud + Avigilon
How it works: Triton Cloud uses the ACC Web Endpoint Service to create bookmarks for mapped cameras. The connection requires network access to the server and an account with permission to create and manage bookmarks.
Camera association: Copy the exact Camera Name from ACC into the sensor’s Camera ID field in Triton Cloud. The name is case-sensitive.
Connection requirements: The documented Cloud setup uses port forwarding to reach the ACC server. It does not require a POS Transaction License.

Add ULTRA’s RTSP occupancy stream to Avigilon for live viewing alongside camera feeds. Recording actions from the direct connection and bookmarks from the Cloud connection help staff find camera footage associated with a detection.
